1. Make a deed of establishment
Applying for a business license through OSS begins with creating a deed of establishment and a validation decree for a PT business entity. The deed number and validation decree number issued by the Directorate General of AHU Kemenkumham are then entered into the OSS system. This process is only done if the PT data from AHU has not been connected. However, the migration of AHU data to OSS has been completed. In that case, you do not need to manually enter the deed number and authorization letter.
2. Parties applying for licenses

NIB is an OSS-issued business identity issued after registering for a business license. NIB is a 13-digit random number with an electronic signature that can also be used for a Company Registration Certificate, Import Identification Number, Customs Rights, and Foreign Worker Utilization Plan.
4. Business License
Once you have an NIB, you must apply for a business license through OSS. The business license document allows you to conduct land acquisition, land area change, building construction, facility procurement, human resource procurement, certificate completion, trial implementation, and production implementation. You must also regularly update your business development and activity information on the OSS system.

5. Automatic Approval
With the OSS system, the business licensing process can be shortened. When you have entered information related to business license requirements, it can be approved immediately without any document review process.
6. Commitment Fulfillment
Obtaining a business license from OSS does not necessarily give you the freedom to conduct company operations immediately. You must first fulfill a statement of commitment to satisfy the requirements of the business license and commercial and operational licenses. This commitment is shown in documents such as location permits, environmental permits, IMBs, standards, certificates, licenses, and registration of goods or services.
7. Having an Environmental Permit
Apart from being a form of commitment, an environmental permit is also a requirement for applying for a business license. This environmental permit proves that your business will not harm the environment, so you will be given permission to operate later.
8. Obtain operational and commercial licenses
Operational and commercial licenses are important points after you get a business license. If you don’t have these two documents, the business license that has been granted is revoked again.
