2. ITAP (Permanent Stay Permit)
In this case, ITAP is a residence permit given to foreign nationals to reside permanently in Indonesia. ITAP has a validity period of 5 years and can be extended indefinitely as long as the holder continues to meet the requirements.
ITAS is a short-term residence permit that must be renewed periodically. While ITAP allows foreign nationals to live permanently in Indonesia with more convenience. For foreign nationals who want to settle in the long term, changing ITAS to ITAP is a profitable step.
