Applying for an Artist KITAS in Indonesia

KITAS Filing Requirements

Confirmation of RPTKA

  1. The foreign labor sponsoring company needs to receive an attestation document from RPTKA as part of the proposal from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower.
  2. The foreign worker sponsor must undergo the pre-confirmation process for RPTKA or a pre-work permit. Information on the duration of the work permit will be provided later.
  3. Pay DKP-TKA (Foreign Worker Compensation Fund) in advance, amounting to USD 100 per month.
  4. After successful authorization, foreign workers can work legally in Indonesia.
  5. After the foreign worker obtains a work permit, the Indonesian immigration office will issue a limited-stay visa (VITAS).
  6. VITAS will automatically become valid proof as KITAS/ITAS when the foreign worker comes to Indonesia. Related documents will also be sent to the registered email address.

Civil Registry Registration

Immediately proceed with the work permit process by 14 days after the ITAS is issued.

  • Prepare documents related to information on the place and period of stay in Indonesia.
  • Submit the documents to the Indonesian Civil Administration department
  • Subsequently, the relevant authorities will issue the civil certificate required by the foreign worker.
